829134765 utilizes Samuel Beckett’s Waiting for Godot and Roland Barthes’ Camera Lucida to examine a select sample group’s responses to a contemporary thematic apperception test. Responses are then transposed through numerical calculations to create visuals indicating photography as a visual medium and its impact on the psyche.

I AM A MAN! takes a reverse-chronological look at the graphic t-shirt, one of the rawest, most accessible forms of self-expression, as a medium to inflate, reject, and assert one’s self to the world.

1443 traces typography’s origins as far back as the Early Joseon dynasty. Between the digitality of ITC Avante-Garde Gothic, the tangible marks generated from traditional Korean Hangul calligraphic techniques such as Yeogip and Balpil, and the phonetic structure documented within the Hunminjeongeum haerye, 1443 delicately dances between 3 unique eras of typography, bridging between strict structures of historical Korean mark-making techniques and swiss assertation.
